The Department of Dental Sciences plays a significant role in patient care, education, and research. This department oversees most of the foundational, practical, and clinical scientific aspects of the pre-doctoral curriculum. As a result, we have the opportunity to collaborate closely with pre-doctoral students throughout their training. Educational activities in this program encompass various subjects, including oral diagnosis, caries disease management, evidence-based decision-making, treatment planning, applied biomaterials, restorative dentistry, maxillofacial dentistry, orthodontics, fixed and removable prosthodontics, dental implants, and digital dentistry. Our dedicated and highly skilled team of basic and clinical educators provides the necessary training, clinical practice, and theoretical knowledge to ensure the delivery of patient-centered comprehensive oral health care and a focus on student-centered teaching.
