In a major step toward promoting academic excellence and scientific inquiry, Peshawar Medical College (PMC) has officially launched its Student Research Forum—a platform dedicated to nurturing the research skills of undergraduate medical students.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the college’s conference hall, with faculty members, student representatives, and guest researchers in attendance. The initiative aims to create a structured environment where students can engage in research, publish their findings, and contribute to the advancement of medical science.
“This forum is a space where curiosity meets creativity,” said Dr. [Name], Head of Research at PMC. “We want our students to not only learn medicine but also question, investigate, and lead the future of healthcare through evidence-based practices.”
The forum will provide regular workshops, mentorship opportunities, and access to institutional research grants. Selected student research will be published in the college’s upcoming PMC Research Digest, and outstanding projects may be presented at national and international conferences.
With this launch, PMC reaffirms its commitment to integrating research into medical education and shaping doctors who are both skilled clinicians and future thought leaders in the medical field.
